Privacy Policy
Your focus history stays on your device.
The short version
Bantuflow has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no servers. We don’t collect, receive, sell or share your personal information, because your data never leaves your phone through us.
1. What the app stores, and where
Bantuflow saves the following in a local database inside the app’s private storage on your device:
- your workday templates and settings (durations, sounds, notification and theme choices);
- your focus sessions: start and end times, durations, and any task title you type;
- notes and tags you add to sessions;
- profiles you create (Pro), and whether Bantuflow Pro is unlocked on your device.
We, the developer, cannot see any of this. It is not uploaded to us or to anyone else by the app.
2. What we collect
Nothing. Bantuflow has no user accounts, no sign-in and no server of ours to send data to. It contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK and does not read advertising identifiers. Because we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to sell, share, or delete on request.
3. Permissions the app asks for, and why

You can change or revoke any permission at any time in your phone’s system settings.
4. Purchases
Bantuflow Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see them. The app asks the store on your device whether your purchase unlocks Pro, and receives only that yes-or-no answer. Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies govern that processing.
5. Exports and sharing
When you export your sessions (for example as CSV), the file is created on your device and handed to your phone’s share sheet. Where it goes next is your choice.
6. Device backups
Your phone’s operating system may include the app’s data in device backups (iCloud Backup on iOS; Android backup to your Google account), depending on your settings. That is done by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us. You can turn it off in your device settings.
7. Third parties
The only third parties involved are the platform providers you already use: Apple (App Store, iOS) and Google (Google Play, Android). Bantuflow includes no other third-party service that receives your data.
8. Children
Bantuflow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, children included.
9. Your choices and rights
You control your data on your device: you can export your sessions, and uninstalling the app removes its local data. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information a company holds about you. We hold none, so these rights have nothing to apply to, but if you have a question, write to us.
10. This website
This website is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. Our web host may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address and page requested) for security and operation; we don’t use them to profile visitors.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, mention it in the app’s release notes.
